Tough Dog’s official information identifies 4Way Suspension Products as a recognised Second Stage Manufacturer and explains that complete GVM kits are tested to maintain applicable ADR compliance.
Federal approval may apply before first registration. For an already-registered vehicle, the federal compliance data is used with inspection and certification by an authorised state engineer. Exact requirements must be confirmed for the vehicle and jurisdiction.
